  • Day 1 Arrival Colombo

    Upon arrival in Sri Lanka, you are warmly welcomed and driven through Colombo to settle into your hotel. If time permits, visit Gangaramaya Temple and Anjaneyar Temple, offering a gentle introduction to Sri Lanka’s spiritual heritage. Overnight in Colombo. 

  • Day 2 Colombo – Chilaw – Colombo

    Colombo – Chilaw – Colombo

    Travel to Chilaw to visit the sacred Muneeswaran Temple, closely associated with Lord Rama’s journey after the battle with King Ravana. Continue to Manavari Temple, home to the revered Ramalinga Shivan, believed to be the first lingam installed and worshipped by Lord Rama. After these spiritually significant visits, return to Colombo for an overnight stay. 

  • Day 3 Colombo – Kandy

    Journey into the central hills toward Kandy, Sri Lanka’s last royal capital and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Kandy, explore the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic, stroll around Kandy Lake and enjoy a vibrant traditional cultural dance performance showcasing Sri Lankan heritage. Dinner and overnight in Kandy. 

  • Day 4 Kandy – Ramboda – Nuwara Eliya

    Travel through scenic hill country landscapes, stopping at a tea plantation and factory to learn about the production of world-famous Ceylon tea and enjoy a freshly brewed cup. Visit the Sri Baktha Hanuman Temple in Ramboda, where Lord Hanuman is believed to have searched for Sitadevi.

    Continue to Nuwara Eliya, visiting Gayathri Peedam, a sacred site associated with Ravana’s son Meghanath and the revered Seetha Amman Temple, linked to Sitadevi’s stay in Ashoka Vatika.   • Day 5 Nuwara Eliya – Hakgala – Divurumpola – Kataragama – Tissamaharama

    Begin the day with a visit to Hakgala Botanical Gardens, believed to be part of Ravana’s pleasure gardens and associated with Ashoka Vatika. Continue to Divurumpola, the sacred site where Sitadevi is said to have proven her purity by fire. Travel onward to Kataragama, one of Sri Lanka’s most important pilgrimage towns, revered by Buddhists, Hindus and indigenous communities alike. After visiting the temple complex, continue to Tissamaharama for dinner and overnight stay. 

  • Day 6 Tissamaharama – Rumassala – Galle – Bentota

    Travel along the southern route to Rumassala, believed to be part of the Himalayan mountain carried by Lord Hanuman in search of life-saving herbs. Continue to the historic city of Galle, exploring the UNESCO-listed Galle Fort, Dutch-era buildings and charming streets rich in colonial history. After lunch, journey north to the coastal town of Bentota. Dinner and overnight stay by the beach. 

  • Day 7 Bentota – Colombo Departure
